A new educational project titled “The Path of Electricity from Production To its Consumption” has been launched for school students through the initiative and coordination of the Energy Training Center, established by the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC). The project aims to inform students about the complete cycle of electricity—from production to consumption—and to raise their awareness of renewable energy sources and Georgia’s green energy potential.
Representatives of the Energy Training Center met with more than 150 students from 10 public schools in the city of Telavi, where they introduced the project’s objectives and participation terms. As part of the project, students will undergo targeted trainings and showcase their creative, thematic works in an exhibition. Winning students will receive special prizes and will be invited to attend a summer school. The project is supported by its partner, Corporation Kindzmarauli.
GNERC and the Energy Training Center jointly prioritize increasing students’ knowledge of energy-related issues, promoting awareness of renewable energy and energy efficiency, and fostering greater interest in the energy sector as a career path.
