The Elizbar Eristavi Energy Training Center is starting a new training course for interested persons from September 19. The topics concern the regulation of the electricity sector.

Within the framework of the course, the participants will be trained on the following topics:

• 
  Legal foundations and legislative framework of the energy sector;
• Main parameters, typology and entities of the electricity sector;
• The process of liberalization of energy markets in Georgia and other countries;
• Energy exchange functions and exchange trading parameters;
• Principles and methodological bases of tariff regulation;
• Consumer rights and service quality in the electricity sector.

Trainings will be conducted by GNERC representatives and invited specialists from various agencies operating in the energy sector.

It is planned to organize 10 meetings within the course. Trainings will be held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 19:00, each training will last 2-3 hours. Participants will be able to attend trainings both physically and remotely. After completing the course, a certificate will be given to the participants.

The main costs of the course will be covered by the Energy Training Center, of which the symbolic amount of the course fee for those who wish to participate is 100 GEL.
