At the invitation of the Chairman of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), Professor Davit Narmania, the Director of the Energy Law Institute of the University of Jena (Germany), Professor Matthias Knauff gave a public lecture on energy law. Key representatives of the energy sector attended the event.

During the public lecture co-organized by GNERC and the Energy Training Center, Professor Matthias Knauff discussed the enforcement of energy law across EU countries. He examined key precedents in the energy sector. He also addressed participants' questions on enforcing competition legislation within the energy industry, protecting consumer rights, and the role of energy communities.

The goal of GNERC and the Energy Training Center is to enhance the awareness and expertise of professionals in the energy sector on various critical topics. To achieve this, they regularly organize conferences and meetings that foster the exchange of information and experiences on a wide range of issues.
