The Energy Training Center of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) participates in the national debate tournament organized by the Institute of Debate and Education, which is carried out within the framework of the Debates for Better Education project, with the support of the Gudavadze-Patarkatsishvili Foundation.
Debating clubs from different regions of Georgia will participate in the tournament, which will be focused on the drinking water issues in Georgia. The final stage of the debate tournament will be held on June 27-28.
To enhance the level of knowledge of participants of the debates, a meeting was organized by the Energy Training Center, within the framework of which the representative of GNERC’s water supply department, Temur Lochoshvili, introduced the issues of water supply regulation to more than 800 participants of the project. The meeting generated significant interest among the participants.
In order to raise the level of awareness of the participants on water supply issues, several additional meetings will be held by the Energy Training Center and GNERC representatives will introduce participants to the tariff policy of water supply and the tariff methodology.
