Nino Guleishvili

Acting Public Defender of Consumer Rights

Nino Guleishvili is a lawyer by profession. She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She is a doctoral student in law at Grigol Robakidze University.

In 2005-2007, Nino Guleishvili worked as an advisor in the Civil Acts Registration Unit at the Kutaisi Passport Office of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. In 2007-2009, she served as Deputy Head of the Legal Division of the Western Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. Since 2008, Nino Guleishvili has been working at the Office of the Public Defender of Consumer Interests operating under the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, where she held the positions of Acting Energy Ombudsman, Senior Assistant, and Regional Representative.

Nino Guleishvili has been the Acting Public Defender of Consumer Interests since July 2024.

Nino Guleishvili has many years of teaching experience. Since 2015, she has been teaching administrative law at Akaki Tsereteli State University as a visiting lecturer. For years, she has been an administrative law trainer at Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration LEPL, an expert consultant for the sectoral direction of the state language program of the same school, a jurisprudence course and a program development consultant.
