From 2014 until now, Ms. Mariam Ioseliani is the director of GNERC's International Relations Department, a member to the Advisory Board of the Elizbar Eristavi Energy Training Center, an assistant professor at the Caucasus School of Business.
She has obtained the degree of Master of Law (Rotterdam University, Erasmus School of Law, business, corporate and maritime law program), graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of International Law and International Relations, specializing in international law.
In different periods Ms. Ioseliani was:
- Legal Lead at the Georgian representation of Deloitte Consulting Overseas Projects (USAID contractor, hydrogeneration and energy planning project);
- Local legal advisor of the USAID "Governance for Development" project in the development of the legal framework for tourism in Georgia;
- Local legal advisor of the USAID "Governance for Development" project in the development of evaluation regulations;
- She worked in the legal department of the National Bank of Georgia; In the Legal Department of the Financial Supervision Agency of Georgia;She was the head of international humanitarian law programs of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Georgia; She was a lawyer at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Law Department; Lawyer of "Aslanishvili and Ioseliani" law firm; Lawyer of the support project of the Chamber of Control of Georgia financed by the World Bank; Tbilisi School of Political Studies Project "Civil Society and Democracy" project manager; Expert lawyer in the joint project of the Association of Young Lawyers of Georgia and the Ministry of Justice of Georgia "Reform of the Civil Registry of Georgia".
- Since 2017, she has been a representative of the General Assembly of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) from Georgia;
- Member of the working group of the project - Strengthening the role of women leaders in energy, organized by the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), invited expert of the partnership program of regulators of Ukraine and Georgia.
- Since 2022, she is the coordinator of the joint project of the Elizbar Eristavi Energy Training Center and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation;
- Since 2022, she is the coordinator of the joint project of Elizbar Eristavi Energy Training Center and UNICEF;
